WHAT WE BELIEVE
 
We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible; in one God eternally existing in three persons - namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary; that Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor; that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and is necessary for the forgiveness of sin.

OUR PURPOSE

We purpose to bring people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, CONNECT them to other believers in order that they may experience biblical community; EDUCATE them in the Word of God for spiritual growth, help them DISCOVER their spiritual gifts for use in the church body; and teach them to CELEBRATE God’s presence within the church and out in the world.

OUR VISION
 
The central objective of the Deliverance Church of Christ #1 is to:  see people delivered from sin, transform the community and bring new life to every household, help those delivered to live out the five biblical purposes of worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and evangelism.
 
OUR VISION is to minister to the whole man – spirit, soul and body – by:

  • Raising the spiritual, educational and economical status of the community of Carmody Hills and Seat Pleasant;
  • ØImpacting the nation;
  • Having classrooms with blackboards and an atmosphere conducive to the age group we are teaching;
  • Opening a Family Crisis Center;

  • Managing a Christian Education Center; and
  • ØOperating a Rehabilitation Center
